About you...

As our Receptionist, we need you to have experience in a fast-paced environment so you can jump straight in. Able to work using your own initiative, exceptional customer service and organisational skills are key.

Your role includes everything from initial enquiries and check in of our guests, through to check out after their stay. You will be friendly, trustworthy and of smart appearance. You will take pride in looking after our hotel and guests throughout the day and ensure it is welcoming at all times.

We are a very busy corporate hotel during the week, but the weekend is where it really takes off with parties, afternoon teas and weddings!

We have a fun inclusive environment in the hotel where you can show off your skills and add value to our team.

Proven front desk management role within a similar sized hotel

Experience of working within a large venue with multiple outlets

Experience of managing teams of 12 or more

Very high standards towards moving the business forward in terms of customer care and guests. This coupled with an enthusiasm, passion and energy for the role. You are likely to have had experience in a guest relations role

Previous experience of Opera Hotel Operating system

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk, listen and build relationships with management, staff and guests alike

Experience of working with budgets, and manpower planning for changes in occupancy levels

Excellent numeracy skills and ability to manage accounts and billing

Flexibility with shifts and hours as required by the business

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to clean and maintain our vast collection of fish tanks at the Coppid Beech Hotel. Our aquarium features nine impressive 3-meter-wide tanks, along with a smaller 2-meter tank.

This role involves weekly cleaning, feeding the fish, and collaborating with our experts to ensure the well-being of our aquatic residents.

About you

This unique and vital position is crucial to us, as our fish are at the heart of our hotel and beloved by our guests. Ideally, candidates will have prior experience managing large fish tanks at home or working in the aquarium industry.
